SanLyn Wellness Centre in conjunction with Julia Schneider (Kinesiologist/Holistic Lifestyle Coach) is delighted to be offering a 2 night, 3 day SELF EMPOWERNMENT RETREAT at a cozy quaint Chalet nestled in Collingwood, a few minutes drive from the natural setting of Blue Mountain and the relaxing La Scandinave Spa

The Retreat Team:

Sandra Levy – (B.A, R.I.H.R., B.C.Ht., N.L.P.)
Sandra has a B.A. in Economics. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the designation of R.I.H.R. by the Canadian Examining Board of Healthcare Practitioners. This is an organization that oversees the ethics, conducts and practices for many of the Complementary Medicine Health Care Programs in Canada.
Sandra is certified to work with children under the age of eighteen using Hypnosis. She is one of seven professionals to be Board Certified for Hypnosis in Canada by the National Guild of Hypnotists. She has a certification in Neuro-Linguistical Programming (N.L.P), a technique to rapidly alter behaviour patterns.
Sandra has trained and worked with a Toronto based Psychiatrist. Through her experiences she has developed an improved understanding of the mind-body connection to which she applies a soul-full approach.
She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

Lynton Friedman
– (B.A, R.I.H.R., B.C.Ht, C.H.R.M.)
Lynton has a B.A. in Psychology and a Specialized Diploma in Human Resources Management. He is a Canadian Registered Psychotherapist with a designation of R.I.H.R., (Registered in Human Relations) by the Canadian Examining Board of Healthcare Practitioners.
He is one of seven professionals to be Board Certified in Canada for Hypnosis by the National Guild of Hypnotists. This is an organization that has almost 8000 members and is committed to the promotion and protection of the art, science and philosophy of Hypnotism.
Lynton has had extensive training with Hypnosis/ Psychotherapy working with a Toronto based Psychiatrist. Through his experience he has gained further insight into the human psyche and many techniques for rapid healing of emotional, physical and spiritual issues. He is an effective communicator and brings with him a compassionate approach to his work.

Julia Schneider – (B.A, Kinesiology., HLC1.)
Julia has been involved with the health and fitness industry for over 6 years. She is a graduate of the Kinesiology and Health Sciences Program at York University with an emphasis on Neurology and Diabetes.

She is a Certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach through the Chek Institute in California. This program is run by world renowned Paul Chek, who is a highly respected pioneer in the field of Holistic Health with over 23 years of clinical experience.

Through out her career path, she has learned to look at health as a combination of different aspects and when combined together, they become a whole body/mind care system called the holistic approach. As a holistic practitioner, Julia integrates proper nutrition, destressing techniques, yoga as well as physical activity into her practice. Her approach is one of kindness, compassion and care which she brings to her work.

Cost & When:

The cost of the Retreat is $500 inclusive of G.S.T and covers everything except transportation to the Chalet. Lectures, discussions, yoga, food, accomodation and spa packages have been incorporated into the costing of the weekend.
The date is going to be announced soon. It will be sometime between mid May to early June, 2008
